The most common damage to Stanley Bailey hand planes is for the horn to be broken off the tote (rear handle), usually from being dropped. Our replacement totes are made from ultra stable, durable, and beautiful vintage air dried Maine yellow birch and have a tough, gorgeous finish. The totes are available in two sizes, one for the Stanley Bailey #3 and #4, and the Stanley Bailey #5 through #8. These totes will also fit hand planes of the equivalent size from Sargent, Worth, Craftsman, and others.
